Hiii! I've been gone for two weeks...headed up to New Hampshire last Monday and then to Maine on Thursday. It's a 10 hour drive, which is always fun...but I passed the time by reading Angels and Demons which is awesome. I also finished Duma Key, which is a 760some page Stephen King book- twisted but good of course. Anyway, New Hampshire isn't that fun anymore because we just kind of sit around at my grandfather's house. But Maine was AWESOME! My dad and his siblings threw a big huge shin-dig for my grandparents' 50th anniversary. It was literally like a wedding- the tent, the catered food, the DJ, the preist, the whole nine yards... My parents and my aunts and uncles were tearing their hair out planning the thing but it was all worth it.

The best part was getting to see the family that I don't get to see that often- my dad's cousins and their little kids. They are sooo cute! The three little girls, Madeline, Lyra, and Maysa had the funniest imaginations. Seraphina, who's just a baby, was adorable and smiley. My sister made friends with Jack, who's 3 and insisted on hiding in the same spot every time we played hide and seek. And Sharif, who's 5, impressed the older boys with his sports skills. I got tons of pictures of them and the rest of the party. I felt like I was being annoying some of the time, but I got some great pics. The funniest one of my cousin Evan pushing some old lady on our rope swing XD. Then at night when everyone but family left we swam in the lake and watched the fireworks from the real wedding that was going on a few cabins down.

Soo...besides my cousins' cat dying everything went really well. (yah, we woke up on Friday to find the cat dead in the yard, and then we buried it...that was an experience) 3 more weeks until school starts! I miss everyone so much... I still have to finish my summer reading assignment. I'm also baby-sitting one more week, for the little girl who's in love with Michael Jackson. Oh and I need to update my story! I have almost all of it hand-written so the next chapter or two should be up this week!
